Garcia said “We were great for seconds on end.” I was lucky to see Jerry play for about 1,000,000 seconds exactly. Thanks for your 1,000,000 views here . Dave Davis wrote this blog for 500 posts and 5 years from 2015 to 2019. Contact me at twitter @gratefulseconds

WTF with Dead & Company at the Hollywood Bowl, May 31, 2017

I was live tweeting from about row 20 if you want to read a play by play. By the way, I thought the band had just finished He's Gone, when after the 7 minute bomb threat break, they played half of the song again. So it felt like they playes He's Gone one and one half times. Guess I will have to listen to the tape. Also there were a massive amount of females in the audience, much more than the other 100 times I saw the Dead or spinoff groups.

Bob Weir and friends basically selling out 18,000 in LA two nights in a row compared to the 1,200 he drew at the House of Blues in 2004

Not sure what happens on the tape and how they treat He's Gone and Bobby's we are kinda-safe comment      Fuck those who call in threats we stayed and danced

An excellent review of night two in LA http://michaelsmusiclog.blogspot.com/2017/06/dead-company-at-hollywood-bowl-6-1-17.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MichaelDohertysMusicLogBlog+%28Michael+Doherty%27s+Music+Log+Blog%29
